Mr. Ganesh Kumar K.C., a former Secretary of the Government of Nepal, brings over 39 years of experience in agriculture policy, institutional development, and regulatory reform. With academic credentials from UC Davis (MSc, Pest Management & Plant Protection) and the University of Udaipur (BSc Ag), he has led the development of key policies and standards in IPM, SPS, plant quarantine, sericulture, and pesticide management. He has served as Program Advisor at DEPROSC-Nepal and consulted for international organizations including FAO, UNDP, ADB, DFID, and USAID. His expertise includes agriculture commercialization, natural resource management, financial and business literacy, and project design and evaluation. Mr. K.C. has contributed to over 20 national phytosanitary standards and continues to advise on strategies for sustainable and competitive agriculture in Nepal.
