Dr. Karki is a leading expert in agricultural economics with over 30 years of experience in Nepal’s agriculture sector. A former Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, he holds a PhD and two master’s degrees in Agricultural Economics and Public Administration. He has worked with government, development partners, and farmer organizations, and has visited 72 countries. He also chairs the Nepal Agriculture Economics Society and serves as Vice Chair of the International Extension and Education Society.
